Born and raised in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, Art Chocolate's artistic journey began as a response to the tumultuous events of 2019 that resonated deeply within. Fueled by a desire to forge a more profound connection with his hometown, Art found solace and purpose in the strokes of his paintbrush. Recognizing art as a medium to freeze fleeting moments, he sought to encourage viewers to introspect and appreciate the significance of their own lives.
In the years spanning 2019 to 2021, Art Chocolate's philanthropic spirit led him to support Hong Kong's youth through the sale of his paintings. Venturing beyond borders, he organized an Art Jam in the Bay Area in April 2022, evolving into the inception of Artual Club. This organization, born from a simple gathering of friends, now endeavors to unite Hong Kongers with local communities through art and literacy programs. Beyond artistic expression, Artual Club engages in discussions on social, political issues, and literary topics, aiming to preserve values cherished by those advocating for freedom worldwide.
