Dr. Balazs Apor
Associate Professor in European Studies at the Centre for European Studies. Founder and Director of the Trinity Centre for Resistance Studies at Trinity College Dublin.
Dr Apor is associate professor in European Studies at the Centre for European Studies and the Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies at Trinity College Dublin. His research interests include the Sovietisation of Eastern Europe after World War II and the cultic veneration of communist leaders. Most recently, his work focuses on the legacies of communism and cultural forms of opposition in post-communist Hungary. He is founder and Director of the Trinity Centre for Resistance Studies at Trinity College Dublin.
