Mr. Calvin Tatara
Founder of Museum of Hong Kong
Calvin Tatara is the founder of the Museum of Hong Kong and currently the co-curator of “Cha, Chai, Tea” exhibition of Horniman Museum and Gardens of London. With a background as a former lecturer at university, Mr. Tatara's expertise in Hongkong and Comparative Colonial Studies, where he has explored the colonial legacies that have shaped Hong Kong's unique, creole identity and culture. Mr. Tatara’s current studies are on the cultural formation and art expression during the Georgian Romance Era of Hongkong (1910s-30s).
