Mr. Iverson Ng

Iverson Ng is an early career researcher of the EU-funded project ‘Advancing Trans-Regional Border Studies’ in Tallinn University, focusing on the post-National Security Law Sino-Hong Kong judicial borders. Before Mr. Ng entered academia, he was a policy advocate on EU-Hong Kong relations and had been actively engaging with EU, Estonian, Lithuanian and Czech parliamentarians since 2020. He also testified at the European Parliament on the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law, and Czech Chamber of Deputies on the suspension of Czech-Hong Kong Extradition Treaty in 2022. Mr. Ng is also an active coordinator for the Hongkongers in Europe community. Since 2021, he has been engaging with EU-based Hong Kong diaspora groups, including his role as a convenor at the first annual meeting of Hongkongers in Europe in Prague in 2022 and his participation at the second annual meeting of Hongkongers in Europe in 2023.
