Ricker Choi (www.rickerchoi.com) is an award-winning pianist. Ricker has performed in festivals and recitals in Toronto and internationally. His most memorable performances were at the Berlin Philharmonie's 2500-seat Großer Saal and Paris' 1000-seat Salle Gaveau. He has composed a solo piano work, "Hong Kong Rhapsody" (香港狂想曲), in honor of Hong Konger's fight for freedom. On 04-20-2022, Wen Hui Bao, a Chinese state-funded media, accused his art of promoting "separatism" and claimed that he has infringed on the National Security Law. He is a prolific artist, and his protest art has been exhibited in Hong Kong, New York, UK London, Toronto, Dublin, Tokyo, and Prague. His protest art has also appeared in the magazine Broken Pencil, in an article about Hong Kong protest art and zines.
